This document specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, Encasement, marking, storage and transportation of fire-resistant plugging materials. It is applicable to fire-resistant plugging materials or fire-resistant plugging components used in penetrating holes and structural gaps in industrial and civil buildings, structures and facilities. It does not apply to fire-resistant expansion seals used inside building fittings and fire-resistant rings of rigid polyethylene gas building drainage pipes. A number of normative documents are cited, including general technical requirements for testing machines, test methods for fiber cement products, classification of combustion performance of building materials, etc. Definitions of fire-resistant plugging materials, fire-resistant plugging components and moving gaps are included in the terminology.
