This document describes a method for testing the adhesion of paint film on the surface of furniture. It is suitable for curing surfaces of finished furniture, carried out on unused furniture or test sample surfaces. It is not suitable for paint films with a total thickness of paint film greater than 250 μm or uneven. Necessary normative reference documents are enumerated and the test principles are set forth, including cutting and removing loose flaking coating debris on the paint film on the surface of furniture, and then visually inspecting the cutting area to assess the adhesion grade. The requirements and types of cutting tools used are also stated, including the form of single-blade cutting tools.
