This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, testing equipment and facilities, inspection methods and inspection rules for the combustion performance of upholstered furniture mattresses. It is applicable to mattresses, mattresses and bed underframes used in various places, but does not include water beds and air mattresses without bedding materials. The combustion performance of open flames is required to meet the regulations of peak heat release ≤ 200 kW and total heat release ≤ 15 MJ.
