This standard specifies the principles, instruments, test procedures and results of vertical rubber-coated fabric samples subjected to small flames and blastalcohol burners. Method A is applicable to the combustion performance test of rubber-coated fabrics or articles with cotton fiber, nylon fiber, polyester fiber, etc. as the skeleton material. Method B is applicable to the combustion performance test of rubber-coated fabrics or articles with fiberglass or asbestos fiber as the skeleton material. This standard is not applicable to the assessment of fire hazard under actual use conditions.
