GB/T 42514-2023 "Aluminum and aluminum alloy anodic oxide coatings and organic polymer film corrosion assessment, chart method" stipulates the method of using chart method to evaluate the corrosion results of aluminum and aluminum alloy surface film. The standard is applicable to the corrosion grade evaluation of corrosion specimens and service samples. The corrosion characteristics are visually displayed through charts to quickly and accurately determine the corrosion grade. The standard was proposed by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and centralized by the National Nonferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee. It was released on May 23, 2023 and officially implemented on December 1, 2023.
