Color scales and indexes are invaluable Colorimeters for an almost endless number of products. From APHA/Pt-Co/Hazen measurements to Gardner scales, from citrus counts to whiteness index, EasyMatch QC makes it easy for you to obtain accurate ratio or index information for solid and liquid materials. While we have comprehensive measurements for a range of major color scales and indices commonly used in the industry, we also provide formulas for more obscure color scales for special tasks (such as the AnLab color scale), and the formula field allows calculation of custom indicators . Create color standards
The data provided by the Spectrophotometer allows you to adjust the pigmentation and the overall production process to create an effective color system with defined tolerances for variation. 2 These tolerances can be created manually from your own data, or developed through EasyMatch QC's automatic tolerance feature, which predicts acceptable limits. Once you have created a standard, you can start measuring your product against that standard, either as a discrete measurement of a single sample or as a continuous monitoring in a moving production line. When products deviate from standards, EasyMatch QC can pass/fail to flag out-of-tolerance color differences, allowing you to isolate defective products and take corrective action.
