GB/T 4698.22-2017 "Methods for chemical analysis of titanium sponge, titanium and titanium alloys, Part 22: Determination of niobium content 5-Br-PADAP Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry and Inductance coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (AES) method" specifies two methods for the determination of niobium content in titanium sponge, titanium and titanium alloys. The determination range is 0.10% to 3.20% and 0.10% to 16.00%, respectively. The standard introduces the application of 5-Br-PADAP Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry as an arbitration analysis method, and the use of ICP-AES method, which provides technical support for the accurate determination of niobium content and is suitable for the quality control of related materials.
